Sycamore Court, an apartment and store complex in Golcar, will receive a £ 7,000 CCTV system after thousands of losses in the past 12 months.
In the past few years, there have been frequent acts of vandalism, both in botherside and outside the complex.
During the six-week period last fall, eight different vandalism incidents and arson attacks and graffiti occurred.
Actions taken so far include installing stronger exterior doors and repainting walls with spray-proof
Graffiti paint and change the doors of the apartment.
On January, when the temporary dome camera was installed across and above the hall door inside the building, the vandalism did subside, but when the camera was not there, the vandalism erupted again

A spokeswoman for Kirklees Housing house said: "The measures worked well.
However, we apply to the district council to help fund a larger external camera that gives us a comprehensive understanding of the region as a whole.
"If not, then we should be able to identify them and provide information to the police.
