What is metal casting?
At the beginning of the metal casting, liquid casting is called slipped pouring into the mold. The molds set.The mold is dumped or flipped in order to discharge the excess liquid. In the spare step, use a tool called spare to trim the excess parts at the opening of the mold. Then smooth the opening around the mold with a sponge.
Stripping occurs when the mold is disconnected and the casting is taken out. Then send the casting to the casting finish.Casting finishing includes trimming the casting to remove all seams, wiping with a wet sponge, flushing with water, and then identifying with straps or stamps. The material of the casting can be tested to verify its composition, or the casting can be checked for external or internal defects.
The applicable metal casting standard depends on the type of metal used, the casting method and its stage in the manufacturing process. The steps to process the casting into a finished product are called "metal processing ".
