CCTV images of park murder victim before he was killed in ‘targeted attack’ released - cctv camera housing price
CCTV has released photos of a murder victim a few hours before he was described as a "target attack" by a detective.
20-year-old Sam Mechelewski was photographed by CCTV cameras at a branch of Sainsbury, St. Germain pedestrian street, Huntingdon, before eight o'clock P. M. on January 31.
At about one o'clock P. M. the next day, a public found his body (1 February)
In a wooded area of Hinchingbrooke Country Park.
The officers were eager to talk to anyone who saw Sam after Sainsbury saw him. House-to-
Housing enquiries were conducted near where Sam's body was found, and extensive searches were conducted in the park.
Chief Detective Adam Gallup said: "A week after the discovery of Sam's body, we once again called on anyone with information to contact us urgently.
"If you recognize Sam from a CCTV image and see him on the evening of January 31, please contact him.
You may feel that the information you have is trivial, but it may help us sort out his movements in the last few hours of Sam's life.
"I would like to stress again that I think it was a targeted attack, but unfortunately it resulted in the death of a young man.
Sam's family said in a statement: "Our son was killed at the age of 20 when his life was in front of him, which was devastating.
If you have any information, please contact the police no matter how insignificant you think it is.
"The 20-year-old man from Brampton was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released without further action.
